Welcome to Boh Cooper.com! I hope you are blessed and enjoying the miracle of each moment.
Below are my current events and upcoming concerts.

I just recently finished my first movie score for a short film called "Beautifully Broken". The score was recorded at Ocean Way Studios with student musicians from Belmont University as part of a Student Scoring Initiative conceived by Scott Halgren of the Nashville Composer's Association. I am drawn to this type of work and want to do more and more of it. Here is the link to my composer demos where you can hear cues from the score and other things I've been working on.

I have been so blessed in my life with the opportunity to tour with one of my biggest musical heroes, David Foster.

Peter Cetera recommended me to David, and after an audition at his studio in Santa Monica, he hired me to play keyboards in his band! I've had the time of my life performing with Nathan East, John Robinson, Randy Waldman, Tariqh Akoni, Mo Pleasure, Michael Thompson, and of course the infamous David Foster. It is a joy to hear him play piano night after night. After a show one night I told him, "Frostie, meeting you is like my kid meeting Batman! You are a superhero!"
"Wow!" he replied, "I hope I didn't let you down". To which I said, "No way. It is an honor to work with you and I'll do it again anytime". Then he said, "You had my back so hard it was ridiculous". He loved being on his first tour as an artist, and he impressed me with his sense of humor, his friendliness and generosity. I thank the Lord for giving me this opportunity of a lifetime, and I will never forget it. (Shout outs to my new friend, Matthew DelaPola, David's awesome musical director...mattdp.com)

In December of 2010, David invited me out to his home studio in Malibu to program for him on the Jackie Evancho project. Jackie is the 10 year old singing sensation who was discovered on America's Got Talent. It was a dream come true. I stayed in his guest room for a week overlooking the Pacific Ocean and worked closely with my musical hero. I even got to arrange the orchestra on a tune! We shared dinners together with his family and I got to meet his fine team of programmers and engineers. One of David's constant phrases is "Good is the enemy of Great". We worked hard to make the tracks for Jackie more than good, but great! Also, David said something else that amazed me..."Everything I produce comes through my fingers." He doesn't notate parts. He just plays them on the keyboard, and what playing he does! What a fascinating experience!! Wow!!! Is all I can say.

I recently got a call from the arranger for the Nashville Symphony, Jim Gray to arrange a song for a benefit they are doing at the Schermerhorn Oct. 16! I felt like a 5th grader in a college class, but I arranged a jazz version of "Over the Rainbow" for Melinda Doolittle (of American Idol fame) to sing. What a thrill!

Welcome to 2012! Thank you God for all the golden opportunities waiting for us around each bend! Can't wait to see what more good is coming!

"Dear God, please make me a blessing to someone today. Help me to live courageously and sanely, amen!"

I wrote a praise song that speaks the truth from God's point of view about us.
It's called, "I am Worthy" mp3

There's a voice that says I'll never be enough
That no matter what I do I don't deserve Your love
But when I look into your eyes
I see a love that overshadows every lie

I am wonderful, I am beautiful
I am totally forgiven, I am good, I am enough
By Your grace I am holy, by your power I am strong,
I'm valuable and precious to You
I am worthy of Your love.

Keb Mo wrote a similar song, with a little more groovacious-ness, that says
"I am amazing, and guess what, so are you!"

Make each day count! Remember, you are lovable, you are enough, and you are worthy of great love.

God bless you,

Bo with an H
